The Young Friends sleepover schedule
1. Get creative with these wintry activities
Pick from a selection of fun crafts before you start Mystery at the Museum:
- Make medieval wassail punch
- Craft a Roman Saturnalia wreath
- Make a Victorian pomander
- Create a gingerbread treasure box
We'd love to see your crafty creations, you can email a picture of them to youngfriends@britishmuseum.org
2. Take part in 'Mystery at the Museum'
Put your detective skills to the test in this Christmas mystery led by a Victorian detective, where you can team up to answer questions and crack the case! Play together or pit yourself against your friends and family and race to see who can find the thief first.
3. Settle in with a bedtime story
Join storyteller Ben Haggarty as he tells the stories behind two of the great icons of the Middle Ages – one carved in stone, the other painted on gold.
